Choosing a path of love often seems easier said than done, especially when we are facing adversity or when we believe that we are being threatened or attacked. In those moments it seems much more 'natural' to strike back, or try protect our heart from being hurt with a barbed wired wall. The last thing we seem to want to do, in those moments, is keep our hearts open and choose a path of love. However, in the long run choosing love, again and again (especially when we are scared) is the most authentic and the safest way. Love is the only environment in which our Soul can thrive.
